Analisis Fenomenologi Khalayak Sinema Tamil Malaysia

چکیده

Sinema Tamil tempatan merupakan sebahagian daripada industri perfileman nasional. Pengaruh sinema ini dilihat mula berkembang sejak beberapa tahun kebelakangan sehingga berjaya mencapai kutipan pecah panggung menerusi Vedigundu Passange arahan Dr. Vimala Perumal. Namun, cabaran bukanlah disebabkan statusnya sebagai minoriti, tetapi perlu bersaing dengan India khususnya Kollywood yang bertaraf global dan sentiasa dijadikan ukuran perbandingan. Tujuan utama makalah ialah untuk mengimbau memahami sikap pengalaman penontonan filem-filem berbahasa dalam kalangan khalayak masyarakat di negara ini. Pendekatan fenomenologi telah digunakan panduan melakukan penelitian tentang bagaimana membina pengetahuan, kesedaran individu selaku subjek menonton Kollywood. Menggunakan kaedah temubual berfokus, dapatan kajian dapat dirumuskan 3 aspek: pertama, hari majoritinya ‘mendewasa’ keetnikan Tamilnadu atau jingoisme Bollywood masih bergelut menerima kelainan inovasi pada naratologi, sinematografi, penataan muzik seni lakon, penggunaan teknologi komputer kesan khas; kedua, menyedari fungsi Bahasa Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan penanda Tamil; ketiga, pendekatan mendedahkan walaupun afiniti kolektif dibina oleh imaginari ‘tanah leluhur’ secara signifikan, mereka komited membuktikan daya ketahanan menghadapi pengaruh berdiaspora itu. Kesimpulannya, ambivalen filem mungkin terbentuk dari ketamilan global. Mereka seharusnya turut sedar akan implikasi konstruksi konsumsi ke atas payung kebudayaan Kata kunci: Diaspora, keetnikan, Tamil, vernakular.
